Hello Bitcoinaire,
So, let’s drift a little to discuss Blockchains.
There are different types of Blockchains which are listed below:
1. Public Blockchains: Public blockchains are open to anyone on the network and are permissionless. This allows users to participate in the network without having to obtain permission from any third party.
2. Private Blockchains: Private blockchains are permissioned networks, where only certain users are allowed to participate in the network. This type of blockchain is usually used in enterprise settings, where certain users are granted access to the network.
3. Consortium Blockchains: Consortium blockchains are a hybrid between public and private blockchains. They are permissioned networks, but the participants are chosen from a group of pre-selected members. This type of blockchain is often used in banking and finance settings.
4. Hybrid Blockchains: Hybrid blockchains are a combination of public and private blockchains.
They allow for a mix of permissioned and permissionless access to the network. This type of blockchain is often used in healthcare settings, where sensitive data needs to be shared securely.
I know this was quite lengthy but, it is worth reading.
Best Regards!
